Each of the fair’s 10 jam-packed daysis full of live performances, competitive events, livestock shows, agricultural exhibits, midway attractions, and mouthwatering eats. From truck and tractor pulls to demolition derbies and harness racing, there’s truly something for everyone.
Featured Events & Attractions
Truck & Tractor Pulls:
Get ready for the roar of engines and flying dirt as powerful vehicles battle it out in thrilling contests. Events are scheduled for August 9 and 16, with classes ranging from Street Stock Gas to Super Mods and Semis.
Demolition Derbies:
Known statewide as the best “Smash ’em, Crash ’em” events around, these crowd-favorite derbies take place August 8, 11, and 15. Don’t miss the high-octane action under the grandstand lights.
Harness Racing:
Cheer on your favorites during traditional harness races held daily August 10–16, with afternoon and evening post times.
Livestock Shows & Agricultural Exhibits:
From dairy cows to draft horses and everything in between, experience the agricultural roots of Maine through daily livestock events, 4-H showcases, and competitive displays.
Midway Rides & Carnival Fun:
Rides open at 1:00 pm daily with games, food, and fun for all ages.
