Rhubarb Fest Magic at Kendall Farm: Celebrate All Things Tart & Tasty! 🍇🎉

Every year on the first Saturday in June, rhubarb lovers from across Maine and beyond gather in the small town of Perry for a one-of-a-kind celebration: The Rhubarb Festival at Kendall Farm! Created by Georgie Kendall in 2022, this fun-filled Downeast Maine festival shines a delicious spotlight on rhubarb—a tart, tangy stalk that has long been a misunderstood pie ingredient. With cooking demos, mocktails, music, games, and all things rhubarb, it’s the sweetest way to kick off summer in Washington County at the Rhubarb Fest Magic at Kendall Farm!

💚 Why Visit the Rhubarb Festival at Kendall Farm?

Georgie Kendall grew up in Perry, Maine, inspired by her grandmother Leona’s baking prowess. As a child, she always wondered why the rhubarb pies were the last ones eaten at church suppers. Today, Georgie is on a mission to change that—and the Rhubarb Festival is her joyful tribute to the underestimated stalk.

Hosted on the scenic Kendall Farmstead, the festival is a tribute to community, food heritage, sustainability, and family fun. If you love gardening, local food, live music, and unique experiences, this is the must-attend event of early summer in Downeast Maine.
