Get ready, gearheads — the Pinetreejamboree 2025 ½ Fast Hot Rod Races are roaring back into action for their 5th Anniversary at the Winterport Dragway in Winterport, Maine, from Friday, September 12 through Sunday, September 14, 2025. This nostalgic and adrenaline-pumping event celebrates traditional hot rods, motorcycles, customs, and race cars built 1953 or earlier with a weekend of racing, camping, food, vendors, and community fun.


If you’re passionate about old-school hot rods and the golden era of racing, the Pinetreejamboree is one event you can’t miss.


What Makes the Pinetreejamboree Special?

🔥 Period-Correct Racing – Every entry is a throwback to pre-1953 style and tradition, including hot rods, trucks, dragsters, and motorcycles. No rat rods or art cars allowed—this is the real deal!

🔥 Unlimited Racing – With the Racer Weekend Package, drivers enjoy unlimited racing, pit access, and camping all weekend long.

🔥 Spectator-Friendly Fun – With affordable daily or weekend passes, families and fans can enjoy the racing action, swap meets, food trucks, and live entertainment.

2025 Event Schedule

📅 Dates: Friday, September 12 – Sunday, September 14, 2025

📍 Location: Winterport Dragway, Airport Road, North Winterport, Maine


  • Friday, Sept. 12 – Gates open for racers & campers, preseason setup, and community meet-ups.

  • Saturday, Sept. 13 – Full day of racing, swap meets, food vendors, and live entertainment.

  • Sunday, Sept. 14 – Racing finals, awards, and closing celebration.


Rules & Regulations for Racers

To maintain the authenticity and throwback vibe, all entries must be flathead-powered vehicles built 1953 or earlier.


✅ Traditional 1953 and earlier build style

✅ Original-style steel or wire wheels only (exceptions for dragsters & comp cars)

✅ Bias ply or bias ply look tires only

✅ Seatbelt required

✅ DOT helmets required

✅ Coolant overflow can required

✅ Pre-registration required for all racers

❌ No visible coil-over shocks

❌ No visible independent front ends

❌ No rat rods or art cars


Pricing & Admission

💰 Racers’ Weekend Package – $160 (car, driver, pit area, camping, and unlimited racing)

💰 Spectator Weekend Pass – $40

💰 Spectator Daily Pass – $15

🎟 Children 12 & under – FREE

🏕 Spectators’ Camping Pass – $20 per camping unit (no reservations needed)
