🎆 Welcome to Maine’s Biggest Small Town: Millinocket Independence Day Festival 2025
Millinocket, Maine is rolling out the red, white, and blue carpet for one of the most charming and spirited Independence Day celebrations in New England! From July 2 through July 9, 2025, this iconic multi-day event will fill the streets of Maine’s Biggest Small Town with nostalgic charm, homecoming hugs, live music, parades, artisan vendors, and unforgettable fireworks.
Whether you’re a local, an alum coming home, or a first-time visitor, the Millinocket Independence Day Festival 2025 offers a small-town experience with big heart.

Wednesday, July 2 – Kickoff with Community Spirit
🥞 Alumni Association Breakfast Buffet
8AM – 11AM at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church (basement)
$10/person – Start your festival weekend with a warm welcome and hearty community breakfast.
Thursday, July 3 – Alumni Homecoming

Friday, July 4 – Independence Day Extravaganza

Starts 10AM | Lineup at 9AM at IGA Parking Lot
Featuring floats honoring local history and alumni legacy. Parade judging takes place at the Town Office—please keep this area clear.
🚸 Children’s Parade
Lineup 10AM at Bangor Savings Bank
Helmets required! Show off bikes, scooters, and patriotic style.
🎶 Music with DJ J Ice
11AM at Veterans Memorial Park
Keep the celebration going with festive beats and community energy!
🥧 Whoopie Pie Off
1PM at Veterans Memorial Park
$5 to judge (includes sampling all entries) | $100 cash prize for People’s Choice!
Proceeds benefit the Millinocket Scholarship Fund.
