Every autumn, Portland, Maine transforms into a culinary wonderland as Harvest on the Harbor 2025 returns for its 19th year — a premier three-day celebration of local flavors, craft drinks, and coastal creativity. From October 30 to November 1, 2025, this renowned festival draws food lovers, mixologists, chefs, and travelers from across the country to experience the best of Maine’s farm-to-fork and sea-to-table culture.
Set against the backdrop of Portland’s working waterfront and artsy East End,
Harvest on the Harbor combines elegance and authenticity with the spirit of community. Visitors can sip award-winning Maine-made spirits, savor fresh-shucked oysters, cheer on the state’s top lobster chefs, and mingle with the people who make Maine’s food scene so unforgettable. Thursday, October 30 | 5 PM – 7:30 PM
Kick off the weekend with a spirited celebration uniting Maine’s best distillers, seafood purveyors, and musicians for an evening of flavor and fun. Enjoy tastings of locally crafted gins, vodkas, bourbons, and rums while savoring seafood from Browne Trading Co., Dunstan Smokehouse, and Downeast Day Boat.
Don’t miss the Maine Oyster Shucking Competition, judged by members of the Oyster Master Guild. Dance to live music by The Hadacol Bouncers while discovering artisanal products from Maine cheesemakers, bakers, and distillers.

A can’t-miss evening for seafood lovers! This signature Harvest on the Harbor event features some of Maine’s most talented chefs — from rising stars to established culinary icons — competing to be crowned Maine Lobster Chef of the Year. Guests can sample each chef’s lobster dish, mingle with contestants, and cast votes for the People’s Choice Award while a panel of judges selects their top pick.2025

A paradise for oyster aficionados! Sample 18 oysters (included with GA ticket) from aquaculture farms spanning Maine’s rugged coastline. Each oyster tells a story — taste regional differences while learning about the sustainable growing process directly from Maine’s aqua culturists.
Pair your oysters with craft beverages including Lunetta Prosecco, Yealands Sauvignon Blanc, Monkey Shoulder Whiskey, Austin Street Brewery Beer, and Coffee By Design.
