Taking place on Saturday, June 21, this vibrant event brings together artists and makers from across the region to showcase and sell their handcrafted work. From intricate woodwork and textiles to locally made pottery, paintings, jewelry, and more, this is your chance to find unique gifts and one-of-a-kind pieces with authentic Maine charm.
Admission: FREE & open to the public | Handicapped accessible
🎨 Local Talent, Local Ties
Each participating artist has roots in the Moosehead Lake area or meaningful connections to the community. This juried show is now in its 4th year, providing artisans with a platform to share their work with locals and visitors alike—many of whom are discovering these hidden talents for the first time. You’ll also find helpful info about where to see more of their creations, whether in their home studios, galleries, or upcoming shows.
🏛️ Greenville Junction Depot: A Historic Moosehead Landmark Reimagined
Built in 1889, the Greenville Junction Depot is one of the last remaining examples of 19th-century railroad architecture in northern Maine. Once a bustling hub that connected the Moosehead Region with the wider world, the Depot stood silent for years before undergoing a passionate 12-year restoration by the Greenville Junction Depot Friends. Thanks to their work, the newly renovated Freight Shed—featuring electricity, handicap-accessible restrooms, and a caterer’s kitchen—is now a stunning community venue available for rental and events.
✨ Why You Should Attend
The Greenville Depot Artisans Show isn’t just an art fair—it’s a celebration of local creativity, history, and community pride. Whether you’re a collector, a casual browser, or someone who simply loves connecting with Maine’s vibrant artisan scene, this is your chance to shop small, support local artists, and immerse yourself in the character of the Moosehead Lake Region. Plus, it’s all set inside one of the area's most stunning historical landmarks!
