Discover Quarry Road Trails — Maine’s Four-Season Outdoor Destination

Owned and operated by the City of Waterville Department of Parks & Recreation and supported by the non-profit Friends of Quarry Road, this destination features over 13.3 km (8.2 miles) of groomed Nordic ski trails and 8 km (5 miles) of singletrack trails for hiking, biking, and snowshoeing.

During winter, a state-of-the-art snowmaking system ensures reliable conditions for cross-country skiing, snowboarding, and snowshoeing, while warmer months invite visitors to run, hike, paddle, and play disc golf in a lush, natural setting.

The Friends of Quarry Road work year-round to make this beloved recreation hub a center for community well-being, outdoor learning, and environmental stewardship.
