🎉 Lincoln Loon Festival 2025: Celebrate Summer the Maine Way

Get ready to party like it’s 1999—literally! The Town of Lincoln’s annual Loon Festival is back and bigger than ever, bringing four days of family-friendly fun, entertainment, and community spirit to beautiful downtown Lincoln, Maine. Scheduled for July 17–20, 2025, this beloved summer tradition promises a jam-packed schedule of events that highlight everything special about small-town Maine in the summer.


With parades, tournaments, food vendors, games, live music, and more, Loonfest is a must-attend event for both locals and visitors alike. Whether you're reuniting with old friends or discovering Lincoln for the first time, this event guarantees fun for all ages at the 2025 Lincoln Loon Festival.


🎭 Don’t Miss the "Party Like It's 1999" Parade – Saturday, July 19 at 11 AM

The highlight of the festival is the “Party Like It’s 1999” Parade on Saturday, July 19. Kicking off promptly at 10:45 AM from Mattanawcook Academy, the parade marches down Main Street (Route 2) to Hannaford, with lineup starting at 9:30 AM. Spectators are encouraged to arrive early and enjoy prime spots along the parade route.


🚨 Quiet Zone for Sensory-Friendly Viewing:

From Mattanawcook Academy to Pat’s Pizza, a designated Quiet Zone will be in effect—perfect for families with young children or anyone sensitive to noise.

⚾ Sports Fans Rejoice: Loonfest Invitational & Little League Tournaments

In addition to the parade, the Loonfest Invitational Tournament and the Little League Tournament bring exciting competitive sports to the weekend. Spectator parking is available at Ella P. Burr School via Ella P. Burr Street (parade traffic on Reed Dr is restricted before 11 AM on Saturday).

Come hungry! Loonfest brings out the best of Maine’s summer flavors with local food trucks, classic fair favorites, and live entertainment in downtown Lincoln. Enjoy everything from fried dough to lobster rolls, and sip on fresh-squeezed lemonade as local musicians fill the air with upbeat tunes.
